The SANTA MARGHERITA estate was designed to recall the architectural and functional spirit of a small, typical village of Castagniccia with its small houses clinging to the hillside, a small square with a fountain, its “loghje” (vaulted passages), its slate roofs.
It is located on a hill near the charming little village of Castellare di Casinca 30 km south of Bastia, 3 minutes from the Bastia Porto Vecchio axis, 10 minutes from the large sandy beach of Anghione, and the agglomeration of Folelli (shopping center, health services, banks, etc.) and ¼ hour from Bastia-Poretta airport
The construction favors local materials, flagstones, Orezza stones, chestnut, etc.
The 10 suites, designed around a single theme, each possess a unique identity while retaining limewash paint, terracotta tiles, handcrafted earthenware, and solid chestnut or oak furniture. All feature a terrace with a pergola offering views of the sea and surrounding nature.
You will be able to relax peacefully in this peaceful environment but also enjoy the special and friendly atmosphere of an old-fashioned village.
Located at the entrance to the estate, the restaurant offers traditional and inventive cuisine based mainly on quality local and artisanal products (veal, charcuterie, cheeses, goats, olive oil, millet, etc.)
